Expertise - Society
Spaceflight shapes our everyday lives, yet for many people it remains abstract. Satellites, launch vehicles, earth observation and space policy are complex topics whose significance isn’t always obvious at first glance. IART wants to bridge this gap.
Through our science communication, we present current research and technological developments in a clear, vivid way tailored to each audience. We combine the institute’s technical expertise with historical, political and social perspectives.
The culture, history and politics of spaceflight are closely linked. Explore our other departments.
